Suga produced Suran’s “Wine” which peaked at number 2 on Gaon Music Chart and winter best Soul/R&B track of the year at 2017 Melon Music Awards. Suga also received a “Hot Trend Award” for this track.

In February 2018 Suga re-released his mixtape (Agust D) for purchase and streaming, with it reaching #3 on Billboard’s World Albums Chart, #5 on Heatseekers Albums chart, and #74 on Top Album Sales Charts.

May 6, 2020, IU released a single called “Eight” which featured and was produced by Suga. The song debuted at #1 on Gaon Digital Chart and Billboard World Digital Songs chart.


Again under the stage name Agust D, Yoongi released a second mixtape, D2 in 2020, which debuted at # 11 on the US Billboard 200, #7 on the UK Albums Chart, and #2 on Australia’s ARIA Album Chart. It became the highest-charting album by a Korean soloist in the US. He also released a MV for “Daechwita”


D-2 by Agust D has reached 101 #1’s on iTunes becoming the 2nd album and the fastest by an Asian artist to achieve this. It’s the first album of 2020 to reach this mark.


“Daechwita” has reached 89 #1’s on iTunes Charts. Suga is know the 5th Korean Soloist with Most #1’s on iTunes Worldwide



In 2014, Yoongi promised fans that he would buy them meat if he achieved success as a musician, and in 2018 on his birthday he donated beef to 39 orphanages as “ARMY”



Suga is a known supporter of the LGBTQ+ Community and has spoken about the importance of mental health.
